Trama: Il capolavoro cyberpunk di Masamune Shirow ritorna con una nuova, incredibile serie animata. Dopo essere stata ricostituita, la Sezione 9 continua la propria lotta ai complotti. Intrecci diplomatici, azione, riflessioni di natura filosofica, sociale e politica, ruotano attorno a un nuovo caso: l’indagine sugli Undici Individuali e le loro gesta apparentemente prive di senso. I profughi delle due precedenti guerre mondiali si sono ghettizzati all’interno di un’isola artificiale, creando le premesse di quella che potrebbe essere un’insurrezione per la conquista della propria indipendenza in Giappone. In realtà tutto è stato magistralmente architettato da Kazundo Goda, per creare una sorta di complotto finalizzato ad assumere il controllo dello stato.
